The core of my identity is centered in building relationships first with God and with people. My calling in ministry has always centered around caring for people and helping them connect with Jesus on a personal level. I see relationships as the driving force behind sharing the gospel and fueling the ministry of the church.
I was born and raised in Caldwell, Texas a little dot on the map about thirty miles from College Station. When I was five years old I gave my life to Christ and felt called to the ministry at the age of fourteen. Since then I have been active in ministry in several different areas. I have served as a Nursing Home Chaplain, a Youth Minister, and have pastored three churches. This journey has taken my family from one side of Texas to the other and all the way to Maryland.
My wife, Alma, and I met at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and married in 2004. We have two great kids, Elena, and Ellyot. They are amazing kiddos and every day is an adventure being their parents.
There are so many things I could share with you about my personality such as the fact that I love hiking with my family, I am an avid baseball fan, a die-hard Texas Aggie football fan, and that I love to read and collect books.
God has changed my life and my mission is to help others discover the new identity and calling found in a relationship with Jesus.
